Roxipe. Homemade Garlic Butter

Well, lately, I’ve been craving garlic toast or garlic bread so much I started imagining things in my dreams. So, yesterday, I went ahead to the supermarket and got myself some butter to make my own version of garlic butter to put on my toast. SONY DSC Ingredients:

  • 5 tbsp salted butter (I used Anchor in this batch)
  • 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • pinch of pepper, totally optional! (I love pepper, so I put it in!)

Now, all you have to do is mix all the ingredients together in a large bowl and you’re done! This way, you’ll still get tiny little pieces of that chopped garlic. Personally, I don’t mind it so I leave it at that. But if you want a smooth batch with no garlic ‘lumps’, use a food processor to blend it all together. And if you do, I really recommend you making a bigger batch than my recipe above. Double it! Or even better, TRIPLE it! ;)) Lastly, use a rubber spatula to scrape everything out when you transfer the butter into an air tight container. That way, you’ll get every bit of that delicious garlic butter! I’ve literally just finished making this super creamy and delicious garlic butter for my toast this morning. It was so good, I couldn’t believe I ate 3 pieces of toast!! Yeah, people!! It was that good!! This garlic butter is not only meant for toast. It can also be used for cooking or any kind of fried food you want to put butter on it. Trust me, it is good and you’ll be wanting more and more of this delicious stuff that you can easily make for yourself! Enjoy! Till next post! Ciao, ddneroxx Oh! A side note: I’ve been obsessing a lot about breakfast since I eat breakfast now these days, so I’d probably post more about my breakfast recipe adventure in the future. Just telling. ;))
